DANETTE FERRETTI

Vice President of Interior Construction DIV13

Danette Ferretti is Vice President of Interior Construction with DIV13. She is an architectural interior designer with more than 30 years of experience in industry. Ferretti has led projects ranging from 1,000 to 465,000 square feet, in a variety of markets including commercial, higher education, multifamily, healthcare, biotech and retail.

Ferretti has been with the company since its inception in 2018. DIV13 is a DIRTT partner, whose mission is to create custom prefabricated interior spaces that go beyond customers' expectations. Ferretti works with clients to develop creative and innovative solutions that fulfill DIV13's mission.

In addition to her professional experience, Ferretti has co-taught and lectured at many local interior design schools, and she has served on the Board of Directors for IIDA SoCal, the area chapter of the International Interior Design Association. Ferretti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Colorado State University and is NCIDQ certified.

HEATHER FOLEY

Landscape Architecture Discipline Leader and Associate HED

Heather Foley is the Landscape Architecture discipline leader and Associate in the San Diego office of HED, a national architecture and engineering firm. She leads HED's landscape architecture practice throughout California. Her diverse portfolio of work weaves together the natural and built environment to create spaces where people can connect with nature and create community. This work includes campus master plans, workplace, mixed-use development, housing and healthcare. Foley also contributes to the firm's business development efforts.

Prior to joining HED, Foley spent 10 years as the executive director of the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to building sustaining and thriving communities worldwide. She currently sits on the San Diego Downtown Partnership Planning and Public Policy Committee and participates on its Placemaking Committee. SANDRA GRAMLEY

AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, Principal and Co-Owner Platt/Whitelaw Architects

Sandra Gramley, Principal and Co-Owner of Platt/Whitelaw Architects, has built her career around architectural design for the greater good. Her work focuses heavily on school design, park facilities, libraries, community resource centers and other public-serving places that require responsive design and universal accessibility. Gramley, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, has also honed her skills to become a specialist in historic preservation architecture.

Gramley has never kept knowledge and experience to herself. She devoted 15 years to teaching design, and she has mentored dozens of people at her firm. She also stepped up to take on several leadership roles with the AIA, including president. Staff at Platt/Whitelaw Architects tend to stay long-term, and Gramley's management style is partly responsible. She is an empowering boss who conveys the importance of everyone being included and recognized. The same is true for clients. Approximately 80% of Platt/Whitelaw's current work is from repeat clients.

LORI ICHISAKA

Senior Associate Partner SVA Architects Inc.

Lori Ichisaka, Senior Associate Partner at SVA Architects Inc., has been a force in the architecture field for more than 35 years. Currently she directs SVA Architects' San Diego regional office in Del Mar. She manages SVA San Diego's design-build projects and coordinates the efforts of the team's designers and professional consultants. Throughout her career, she has led a variety of projects, ranging from commercial office buildings to high-density multifamily projects. Significant projects under her design leadership have included two separate $100 million+ Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) projects at Camp Pendleton, the $143 million San Diego State University South Campus Plaza, the nationally lauded Celadon at Ninth and Broadway (winner of the ULI Global Award for Excellence), and the new, $10.3 million San Ysidro Public Library. Ichisaka earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. Her service has included being a mentor for high school students.
