MEREDITH MEYERS

Director of Strategy and Associate Cuningham

Meredith Meyers, Director of Strategy and Associate at Cuningham, has been a leading business development and marketing professional in architecture, engineering, and construction for over 15 years. She has successfully spearheaded the acquisition of over $500 million in new business. Meyers continues to develop strategic campaigns to bring in new clients and identify new business opportunities.

Possessing a deep passion for and personal ties to the architecture industry, particularly healthcare architecture—as she has experienced first-hand its meaning and significance—some of her most notable accomplishments include successfully leading pursuits to win projects with healthcare clients such as Sharp HealthCare, Dignity/CommonSpirit, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, City of Hope, UCLA, Universal Health Services, Hoag Hospital, Banner Health and HonorHealth. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, she began her career working for start-up internet companies. After work in New York, Chicago and London, she landed in Carlsbad.

AMY MORWAY

Principal ID Studios, Inc.

Amy Morway is Principal at ID Studios, Inc. She holds an Interior Design degree from the University of Arizona, is a Certified Interior Designer (CID) in California, and maintains LEED Accredited Professional credentials with the U.S. Green Building Council. She is a legacy member of CREW and participates in and has membership in professional and community organizations including NAIOP, USGBC and IIDA.

She co-founded ID Studios in 2005. The partners' mission was to provide an elevated level of architectural and interior design services for commercial organizations in Southern California and beyond. Her thorough understanding of the unique challenges facing organizations and their workplaces today is an accomplishment that has led to working with many high-profile clients at all levels. Under her leadership, ID Studios provides architectural and interior design services for many well-known national and international organizations. In the last two years she has been focused on expanding ID Studios' Life Science Portfolio.

SHARMISTA MITRA-KELLY

Design Principal and Studio Leader JCJ Architecture

Sharmista Mitra-Kelly is Design Principal and Studio Leader at JCJ Architecture. She is a registered interior designer who has continuously demonstrated the ability to create uplifting and memorable spaces that function beautifully and perform seamlessly. Having worked extensively on projects in the gaming and hospitality markets, she is accustomed to working with aggressive schedules, and to leading teams in delivering on highly complex scopes of work. Her design sensibility, technical acumen, communication skills, collaborative approach and ability to gain the trust and respect of clients define her as a true leader in this industry.

As JCJ's San Diego Studio Leader, Mitra-Kelly works to optimize culture and performance. She also collaborates closely with her leadership peers to motivate and develop all the firm's 130+ employee owners and to advocate for JCJ's continual development as a progressive, forward looking and sustainable 21st century design practice. ALICIA PANDIMOS MAURER

Senior Vice President CannonDesign

Alicia Pandimos Maurer is Senior Vice President at CannonDesign. She is a passionate advocate for science and discovery—and for healthy, sustainable, optimized research environments that can catalyze breakthroughs that can better the lives of millions. She is an industry leader in some of the most complex laboratory environments including genetics, gene and cell therapy, personalized medicine, microbiology, small molecule, bench-scale manufacturing, and PCR and sequencing. Enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable about sustainable lab design, Maurer is a thought-leader in this field, helping found the Colorado chapter of the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL). She currently sits on the Colorado and San Diego boards for I2SL. She is also a fierce advocate for women working in biotech and is a member of the ISPE San Diego Chapter of Women in Pharma which provides a forum for connecting and collaborating on technical and career advancement topics. ALISON MORITA

Associate Delawie

Alison Morita is an Associate with Delawie. Since joining the firm in 2005, she has managed a variety of education, hospitality and science and technology projects. She recently served as the project architect for the campus master plan and corporate headquarters of BioLegend, a 2020 Orchid Award Winner in San Diego. Morita was also the project architect for the 130-room Montage Healdsburg in Northern California, a project that blurs the line between interior and exterior, and captures the ideals of Midcentury Modernism. She is currently the project manager for the Helen Woodward Animal Center Education Building in Rancho Santa Fe.

Morita received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a LEED accredited professional. She has been deeply involved in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) at the regional, state and national levels, winning the organization's Associate of the Year Award in 2010.

NIVINE PEREZ

Lead interior designer CannonDesign

Nivine Perez, lead interior designer for CannonDesign's Southern California region, is an incredibly creative, thoughtful and passionate leader. With impact locally and beyond, Perez leads interior design for critical projects in our region including the UC San Diego Internal Medicine and Center for Seniors, LAC+USC Restorative Care Village, workplace projects for Tata Consultancy Services, LA County Martin Luther King Child & Well-Being Center and many more.

Beyond her indelible design skills, Perez is a gifted leader. She currently serves on CannonDesign's NEXT Council, a global leadership development program. The entire 1,150+ company is encouraged to apply and Perez was one of just 12 selected. She is also deeply respected for her ability to mentor others, listen to clients and create spaces that deliver deep, positive impact for end users. TRACY MORRAN

NCIDQ, CID, LEED Associate Interior Design Leader and Associate HED

Tracy Morran is an associate and interior design leader at national architecture and engineering firm HED. Focused on design excellence, mentorship and superb client relations, Morran is passionate about strategic planning and workplace strategy as the means to drive the development of customized design solutions for her clients. She has more than 20 years of experience working with clients in the corporate, education, healthcare and hospitality sectors and holds CID, NCIDQ and LEED credentials.

Previously, Morran was an interior design leader and senior project manager at Pacific Cornerstone Architects, which was acquired by HED earlier this year. Having worked in-depth with HED's San Diego office managing principal in past years, Morran was thrilled for the opportunity to provide an even more robust offering of integrated services and resources to PCA's client base. JEANA KIM RENGER

Executive Vice President Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects

Jeana Kim Renger, Executive Vice President, Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects, is a licensed architect with over 27 years of experience. As Executive Vice President and Managing Principal of the office for FPBA, Renger is responsible for leading project teams, strengthening client relationships, managing firm operations, providing vision, direction and overall strategy. She has experience in a wide range of market sectors including life sciences, municipal, commercial, industrial, hospitality, multifamily residential and healthcare.

Renger holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Architecture from University of California, Los Angeles. She served for two years on the Board of Directors and additionally as an Advisory Board member of CREW San Diego, a professional organization dedicated to empowering women in commercial real estate. Renger is also actively involved in life science organizations, including ISPE and Biocom California, for which she is Co-Chair of the Facilities Committee.
