Director of Engagement and Impact Chicano Federation of San Diego County

Lupe Flores is Director of Engagement and Impact at the Chicano Federation of San Diego County. She joined the organization in January 2020 as the Development and Community Relations Manager.

Flores is an experienced nonprofit professional with a demonstrated history of working in project management and fundraising. She has overseen the COVID-19 outreach and was a key leader in the 2020 initiatives to distribute PPP during the height of the pandemic to Latino communities that were disproportionately hit. She also oversees the San Diego Latino Health Coalition, comprised of six nonprofits working toward sharing culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate public health information with the community.

This year, Flores was appointed to the Latina Action Day planning committee that organized more than 500 Latinas from all over the state to convene in Sacramento and advocate for equitable legislation and policy that would benefit all Californians.
