TAYLOR HARRELL

Senior Director of Learning and Evaluation MAAC

Taylor Harrell is Senior Director of Learning and Evaluation at MAAC. She is a social science researcher, leadership development expert and consultant dedicated to tackling the most pressing social issues of this generation.

Harrell shapes professional development strategies for nearly 600 staff members, while also overseeing the organization’s data-gathering and analysis activities and guiding its evaluation and research endeavors. Additionally, she consults with major corporations, including SDG&E, and is on faculty with the Center for Creative Leadership, National University and USD.

Her career, Harrell has focused on creating inclusive leaders, organizations and societies. In her role at MAAC, she leads the learning and evaluation division that conducts high-impact research in the areas of childhood education, affordable housing, economic development, public health and advocacy. This research has contributed to more than $7.5 million in grant funding received by the San Diego region.
