Alex Loker is Vice President of Philanthropy at Rady Children’s Hospital. She leads a division of high-performing professionals who manage corporate giving, community-based fundraising events and campaigns, philanthropic volunteerism, and community partnerships with professional sports organizations and community groups across San Diego.

Loker and her team of 10 raised more than $18 million for Rady Children’s and secured a corporate gift of $8.5 million this year to establish a new and needed center at the hospital. She also led an organization-wide survey, task force and the development of a robust plan to build a new patient experience program to elevate on-campus enrichment programs and diversion opportunities.

Loker is a published illustrator of children’s books and is passionate about advancing the health of children, supporting early-childhood literacy, improving patient access and building opportunities for the community to be a part of Rady Children’s mission.
