Christine Martin is Senior Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at NuVasive. Martin has spent a majority of her career dedicated to medical technology and life sciences. Through her roles in corporate development and strategy, Martin has helped shape and foster innovation within NuVasive, the largest spine-focused company in the world with more than $1 billion in net sales.

Martin manages NuVasive’s venture portfolio where the company invests in third-party businesses throughout the medical technology industry. She partners closely with business leaders to select technology assets to pursue and has implemented internal processes to allow for standardized decision-making on asset selection and deal process.

She is also a member of NuVasive’s first employee resource group, Women In NuVasive, a women-led organization focused on highlighting the value of diversity, inclusion, and engagement while providing professional development opportunities for all employees.
