Nicole “Nikki” Rivers is a Senior Associate at Mintz, working on cutting-edge legal matter for Fortune 1000 companies and small businesses alike.

Rivers has successfully defended clients on complex employment matters ranging from wage and hour violations, harassment, retaliation, discrimination and breach of employment agreements to violations of Family and Medical Leave Act, Private Attorneys General Act, California Family Rights Act and Fair Employment and Housing Act.

A fighter for equal rights of women and minorities, Rivers takes on leadership roles to advance those causes when not representing clients. She’s currently co-chair of San Diego-based Workplace Equity and Civility Initiative, a board member of the Downtown Children’s Center and co-chair of Mintz’s San Diego office Addressing Racial Inequality Working Group. She also served as a panelist on a national webinar to educate employers on employment considerations when developing return-to-work policies after the COVID-19 Delta variant disruption.
