Debbie Chelberg is Principal, Chief People Officer at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA). She is responsible for overseeing the firm's West region HR division, supporting the needs of over 1,400 colleagues. She serves on the region's management committee where she provides insight and advises on best practices in support of MMA's people. She is also engaged with MMA at the national level, supporting key nationwide initiatives. Before MMA, Chelberg held various HR leadership roles within the retail, hospitality, publishing, medical devices, biotechnology, and technology fields. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from CSU San Marcos as well as Certified Diversity Professional and Society for Human Resource Management- Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications. She is a certified practitioner of Insights Discovery behavior and personality assessment tool used to improve work productivity, collaboration and communication.
