VARVARA YEFYMENKO-RIEPIN

HR Generalist Balfour Beatty

Varvara Yefymenko-Riepin, a certified Human Resources Generalist at Balfour Beatty, leads by example and strives to ensure successful recruitment, onboarding and retention of employees. She is a DE&I (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) champion and a mentor to UC San Diego students. Yefymenko-Riepin holds a bachelor's degree in social psychology from UC San Diego.

She effectively coordinates outreach and event planning efforts, as well as participates in implementation of national DE&I initiatives. She is co-chair of the Women's Affinity Group at her firm. In 2022, she helped with seamless execution of Women's Equality Day on both national and divisional levels. She volunteered for San Diego's Habitat for Humanity during the Women Build events in 2022 and 2023. With the other volunteers, she built a playhouse for the family in need in 2022, and in 2023 helped renovate a home.
